Abstract

This paper is a catalogue of the bronze winged axes of the Middle and Late Bronze Age in the Netherlands, ordered by types. They occur in limited number, practically exclusively in the southeastern part of the country, chiefly in Limburg. They apparently represent imports from the East French area over a wide period, from the 13th or 12th to the 9th or 8th centuries BC.
